The aim of the course:
As the relationships between the health of human communities and environmental hazards increase, the interest of healthcare workers, public health managers, politicians, and the public also rises accordingly. This course aims to provide education from a nursing perspective on the health effects of physical and chemical agents present in the environment, taking into account their specific applications, fundamental environmental health problems, and particularly the principles of approach to environmental health issues, especially focusing on biological agents.

Contents of the Course
This course covers the topics of Environmental Health Concept and Determinants of Health, Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Solid Wastes, Radiation, Noise, Food Safety, Soil Pollution, Energy, Preventive Measures in Environmental Health, Approach to Environmental Problems, Environmental Health in the World and in Turkey.
