The aim of the course:
Bu dersin amacı, öğrencilerin (mentör), birinci sınıf öğrencileri (menti) ile iletişime geçmesini sağlayarak, birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin üniversiteye ve Hemşirelik mesleğine uyum sürecini kolaylaştırmak ve mentör öğrenci yetiştirmektir.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : enables mentors to acquire and apply basic mentoring knowledge.2,10,12,161,3,
LO - 2 : Teaches mentors how to support their mentees in achieving their goals and how to give them motivating feedback2,10,12,161,3,

Contents of the Course
It includes Mentorship Program and Types, Peer Mentoring and Peer Mentoring in Nursing and Its Contributions to the Nursing Profession, Stages of Mentoring, Mentor-Mentee Characteristics, Communication Process and Roles, and the subjects that a good mentor should take (Motivation, Critical Thinking, Leadership, Self-Confidence, Career Planning, Positive Psychology and Communication Skills, Anxiety and Coping, etc.).
