The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to gain the ability to know and apply the basic roles, responsibilities, principles and concepts of operating room nursing in line with evidence-based resources, AORN standards and current guidelines.

Contents of the Course
Operating room architecture, layout, organization and management, roles and responsibilities of the operating room team, surgical team, instrument/equipment and preparation of the operating table, surgical instruments, preparation of the surgical patient, sutures used in the operating room and surgery, patient safety in the operating room, employee safety in the operating room, sterilization/ disinfection, recording and documentation in the operating room
