The aim of the course:
To equip individuals who learn the basic concepts of health and the preservation and improvement of health with the necessary knowledge and skills for the enhancement of individual, family, and community health. To train students who know the concepts of protecting and improving individual, family, and community health, the factors affecting them, behavior-specific health protection and improvement models, and solution strategies.

Contents of the Course
In this course, students are taught the basic concepts of health promotion. Topics such as health and illness, health risks, general and personal hygiene, healthy eating, physical activity and health promotion, mental health improvement and stress management, addiction to tobacco, alcohol, and substances, and environmental health will also be covered. All factors necessary for creating a healthy and safe environment are examined. Students are provided with useful information to protect and improve their own health and that of individuals in the community.
