Introduction to microbiology and brief history, Taxonomy of microorganisms, General structures of microorganisms, Structures and metabolisms of Bacteriae, Bacterial growth types, conditions of cultures and types of medium, Staining methods using in microbiological and staining of microrganisms, Bacterial genetics and mechanisms of bacterial gene transfer, Microorganism-microorganism relations, Microorganism-host relations, Normal microbial flora of the body, Virulance factors of bacteria, Structures of viruses, general characteristics and growth types, Structures of fungi, general characteristics and growth types, Structures of parasites, general characteristics and growth types, Types of parasitic infections, Blood /tissue protozoons and their infections, Nematods, cestods, trematods and their infections, Principals of antimicrobial therapy and antimicrobials, Efficacy of mechanisms of antimicrobials and types of usage, Sterilization, disinfection processes and the importance, Introduction to immunology, Immunological system cells and their functions, Structures and functions of antigen, antibody and immune complexes, Complement system and imflamatory response, Fundamentals of innate (nonspesific) and adaptive (spesific) immunity, Microbial antigens, Immune system diseases and immunological diagnostic methods, New diagnostic methods using in microbiology.
