In this lecture first of all we are going to examine the developments of the Ottoman institutions, later corruptions, reform efforts and their results. The main goal of the lecture is to give realistic knowledge about the Ottoman civilization, which was based on the reliable text and documents. There is no doubt that to reach our goal the efforts of the students have vital importance. For this reason to help the students I give name of the some important text, which I believe will be very useful for the students. The texts will be useful for the students mini-research papers. In addition to these the students must attend all the classes, ask questions, make discussions. This would help to develop a better understanding of the lecture. |
