Education Objectives of the Programme :
Institutional Purpose:
To carry out oral and dental health services and research activities in line with our strategic plan in line with the mission, vision, general purpose and goals of our faculty.

General Purpose:
In the education and health services provided in our faculty, it is essential to adopt a holistic approach that includes biological, psychological and social factors, keeping human and ethical values ??at the forefront. In this direction, it is aimed to train qualified dentists who perform dental practices based on scientific evidence, in harmony with human and professional values, are open to continuous professional and individual development, and prioritize individual and social benefit.

General Objective:
* To complete the accreditation of our faculty for national dentistry education programs,
* To ensure diploma equivalence with European Union countries,
* To achieve at least 80% success in student satisfaction surveys,
* To support scientific studies by establishing advanced R&D laboratories,
* To be one of the most preferred faculties in dentistry specialization education,
* To be a pioneer institution that provides services to the oral and dental health of the society with the most advanced technology,
* To maintain a constantly high level of patient satisfaction,
* To create a structure within the faculty that can provide comprehensive oral and dental health services under general anesthesia.
In line with these goals, our faculty aims to be in a leading position in the national and international arena by continuously increasing the quality in both education and health services.
 
Learning Outcomes of the Programme :
Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to :
OP-1: Scientific: Knows and applies the preclinical methods of Basic Dentistry Sciences, has a command of three-dimensional thinking principles. The patient makes clinical decisions by using problem solving and critical thinking skills in the diagnosis and treatment plan process, follows national/international academic resources and uses evidence-based dentistry practices in professional practice by evaluating research results.
OP-2: Professionalism and Ethics: By adopting the concept of lifelong learning, it keeps itself open to development and acts according to the principles of dental and medical emergency / prioritization by following universal professional ethical rules in the solution of clinical problems. The patient receives informed consent within the framework of the law, keeping his privacy in the foreground.
OP-3: Communication: In the field of life sciences; On a biopsychosocial basis, he communicates effectively with colleagues, team members, patients and their relatives and other professions, and uses interpersonal harmony and communication skills.
OP-4: Prioritizing Health: Prioritizes preventive oral and dental health practices, and makes practices aimed at improving its relationship with general health. It takes responsibility for their development and supports the state of health at every stage of life.
OP-5: Corporate Governance and Leadership: Systematizes patient safety and clinical risk management in the provision of dental treatment, manages financial and human resources effectively and efficiently, and adapts and implements quality improvement processes. It prioritizes the elements of working in harmony, leadership, respect and empathy within the principle of being a team. Demonstrates a proactive approach to natural disasters and epidemics and applies it when necessary.
OP-6: Informatics: Knows, uses and follows current developments in information technologies in order to store digital data in administrative, theoretical and clinical processes and to use it safely when necessary.
OP-7: Diagnosis and Treatment Processes: Manages the diagnosis and treatment planning processes of dental diseases, including patients of different age groups and special needs, by observing the principles of infection control, plans according to the general health and dental anxiety of the patient, determines the working limits and asks for consultation when necessary. Recognizes risky and vulnerable groups manages the process and applies oral and dental health services.
