The aim of the course:
Provide an overview about the water pollution and water quality.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : have knowledge about environmental water quality7,81
LO - 2 : have knowledge about sources of water pollution7,81
LO - 3 : have knowledge about major contaminant groups (organic pollution, heavy metal, detergent, fertilizer, pesticide, industrial waste, oil and grease, marine accident and petrol pollution) and its toxic affects to fish and other organisms. have knowledge about major water quality parameters7,81
LO - 4 : have knowledge about major water quality parameters7,81
LO - 5 : measure temperature, dissolved oxygen, salinity, pH, BOD, COD, phenol detergent, oil and grease in fresh water and sea and determine contaminant behavior in the environment7,81
