The aim of the course:
The course provides students with a detailed understanding of aquatic nutrition, farming practice, feed formulation and the physiolgy and biochemistry of aquatic organisms

Contents of the Course
Fish husbandry and fish nutrition. Main nutrients (proteins, fats, and carbohiyrates), reqruitments and metabolism. Digestive system and physiology of digestion. Energy requirements. Vitamins. Minerals. Feed additives. Main feedstuffs used in compound feeds. Analysis of foodstaffs and compound feeds. Compound feed formulation. feed production technology. Feed storage. feedind practices. Record keeping and evaluation.
