Contents of the Course
Comparison between aquatic and terrestrial lifePhysiological processes exhibited by diversity of animals and to provide a foundation for future study of biological systems. Fundamental mechanisms common to all animals and physiological adaptations for specialized situations. Comparative approach to study how groups of unrelated animals have evolved to cope with similar environmental conditions. The strategies utilized by animals to adapt to specialized niches in extreme environments will also be considered. Comparative developmental biology
