BTM3036 | Aquatic Toxicology | 1+0+1 | ECTS:3 | Year / Semester | Spring Semester | Level of Course | First Cycle | Status | Elective | Department | DEPARTMENT of FISHERIES TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING | Prerequisites and co-requisites | None | Mode of Delivery | Face to face | Contact Hours | 14 weeks - 1 hour of lectures and 1 hour of laboratory per week | Lecturer | Prof. Dr. İlhan ALTINOK | Co-Lecturer | Prof. Dr. Erol Çapkın | Language of instruction | Turkish | Professional practise ( internship ) | None | | The aim of the course: | This course has been designed to address aquatic pollution from a viewpoint of environmental toxicology. Based on the physical and chemical characteristics of water and pollutants, the course will explore the aquatic dynamics, toxicity and microbial transformation of contaminants, their impact on the ecosystem, and the issue of water quality management from aquaculturist perspectives. |
