The aim of the course:
The main objectives of this course are to train students on the basic concepts and principles of business English so that they can apply their knowledge on their job application immediately after graduation for a foreign company or organisation, and on their future work if they are employed for a foreign company or goverment body which has international contacts.

Introduction. Revision of fisheris English terminology. Writing; Curriculum Vitae and resume. Letters of acceptance. Reference letters. Examples of business writing; e-mail, Fax. Reading; Reading of an article, evaluation reports and data collection texts, and understanding and commenting on the reports. Writing reports. Listening and Speaking; Developing Diolog in business English. Job interviews. Speaking on the telephone for business purposes. Writing techniques for reports. Writing techniques to prepare projects. Power point presentations in English.
