The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to teach the production techniques of planktonic organisms to students and to give the practical knowledge about production techniques.

Contents of the Course
Introduction to plankton, systematic groups belonging to planktonic organisms, industrial and commercial uses of phytoplankton and zooplankton, physical and chemical environments required for algae culture, cultural properties of various planktonic organisms, storage and microscope techniques. Biomass estimation methods in culture.
