The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge of importance of forests as a genetic resource and conservation methods.

Definition of Biodiversity and Different Forest Ecosystems, Genetic Diversity, Factors that Reduce Genetic Diversity, Determination of Target Species and Areas, Making of Databases, "in situ" Conservation Methods of Genetic Resources, "ex situ" Conservation Methods of Genetic Resources, Difficulties on Conservation of Genetic Resources, National and International Cooperation for Conservation of Genetic Resources.
