The aim of the course:
This course aims to provide graduate students to the general knowledge on taxonomy of herbaceous plant taxa, using botanical terminology in plant classification.

Contents of the Course
Taxonomy of herbaceous plants, terms of species, higher and lower taxa of herbaceous plants, botanical nomenclature, epithet, author and type of herbaceous plants. General plant identification terminology of herbaceous plant taxa of families represented in flora of Turkey.
