| This course covers the effects of globalization on cities, the metropolis and the metropolitanization process, metropolitan area criteria and typologies, the main problems encountered in metropolitan areas, and metropolitan planning approaches, types, and tools; metropolitan planning practices in the world and in Turkey are examined with examples. |
