| Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety: its purpose, subject matter, definition, and legislation; general rules of occupational health and safety and safety culture; information on labor legislation, legal rights and responsibilities of employees; occupational accidents and diseases, causes and prevention of occupational diseases, legal consequences arising from occupational accidents and diseases, principles of disease prevention and application of prevention techniques, risk factors (biological and psychosocial risk factors, chemical, physical, and ergonomic risk factors), causes of occupational accidents and application of prevention principles and techniques, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety and health signs, safe use of work equipment, manual lifting and carrying, working with display screen equipment, ergonomic work examples in the field of chemistry, electricity, its hazards, risks, and precautions; fire risk, flammability, explosion, fire and fire protection, first aid, evacuation and rescue, workplace cleanliness and order, harms and passive effects of tobacco products. |
