The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to provide students with sufficient knowledge and practical skills in primary and secondary processes involved in food processing processes. Within the scope of the course, students learn the uses of processes such as preparation, cleaning, separation, crushing, grinding, mixing, membrane separation, filtration and centrifugation in the food industry, and acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the equipment and machines used in these processes.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Explain the basic concepts and theories used in food processing processes.1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 2 : In food processing technology, they have sufficient knowledge and equipment about the basic process steps to be applied in the process from the preliminary preparation processes of the raw material to the final product and the equipment to be used.3 - 71,
LO - 3 : Identifies the main problems related to food processing technologies and develops solutions.3 - 71,
LO - 4 : Can effectively convey information about the correct and safe use of equipment to teammates and other working groups.1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
