| This course examines the relationship between behavioral sciences and individual and social psychology concepts within the context of working life. The position of psychology within natural and social sciences is discussed to establish a scientific foundation. The importance of context in working life is analyzed at individual, organizational, and national levels, with particular attention to the interaction between employee behavior and cultural and social factors. The course further explores employees? roles within organizations through various theoretical perspectives and addresses the levels of analysis and research domains of key psychological concepts. In addition, contemporary issues such as workplace diversity, inclusion, discrimination, glass ceiling syndrome, microaggressions, and tokenism are examined from a scientific and critical perspective. |
