The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to equip students with the tools necessary to think professionally and creatively about energy transport related to the maritime industry. examining energy efficiency options in operation (voyage planning & execution, trim, autopilots), understanding the effect of hull & propeller roughness on energy management on ships, examining effect of antifouling system on shipboard energy efficiency, management plans for energy efficiency onboard. In general understanding the energy management perspective and energy efficiency concept in maritime industry.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

PO - 2 : Students will be able to assess and manage the risks associated with energy transport.3 - 4
PO - 3 : Supply chain management of primary and secondary energy sources will know from the point of view of marine and pipeline transportation3 - 4
