The students will be given information about the chemical thermodynamics and its methods

Contents of the Course
Introduction, First Law of Thermodynamics, Second Law and Entropy, Availability, State Relationships for Real Gases and Liquids, Thermodynamic Properties of Pure Fluids. Mole and mass fractions, molality, generalized relations, Euler and Gibbs-Duhem equations, binary mixtures, ideal gas mixture, ideal solution, fugacity, relation between Gibbs function and enthalpy, mixing rules for equations of state, Dalton?s Law. .
