| Furniture, design, furniture design, design history, factors affecting furniture design, basic design elements, aesthetics, the concept of beauty and ugliness in art, measurement criteria in furniture design, golden numbers, golden ratio, shape, psychological effects of shape, form in furniture, color, concepts, psychological effects of colors on furniture and space, tone value in space in furniture, rhythm in furniture and space, concepts of conformity-contrast and functionality are given. The subjects of designing, producing, creating a concept, formality in production, human-furniture relationship, functionality and detailing of a furniture are discussed. Designs are interpreted and their features are examined individually and as a group in the subjects of furniture styles, residential furniture, office furniture, educational furniture, open office equipment elements, play equipment, urban furniture. |
