The aim of the course:
This course aims that students are able to do operations and conversions between number systems. This course aims that students learn electrical characteristics of the logic gates, This course aims that students gain to ability design of the combined and sequentialand design sequential logic circuits. This course aims that students are able to use Analog digital converters ( ADC ) and Digital to Analog dönüştürüclerieri ( DAC ).

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Students know transferring Logical expressions to the truth table,place this truth table values in karnaugh maps, can make groupping in karnaugh maps and can write system outputs.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 2 : For a given sytem, Students can create truth table.After, Students can switch Karnaugh maps and , can make groupping in karnaugh maps and can write The most simple version of system.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 3 : Students know The encoder and decoder circuits, and can know and implement those circuits.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 4 : Students know Summing, Substractor, Multiply and Comparator circuits and implement those circuits.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 5 : Students know and builds circuits Registers circuits: RS, D, JK, T -type flip- flops.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 6 : Students know and sets up the register circuits:serial input serial output, serial input parallel output, parallel input serial output, parallel input parallel output registers.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 7 : Students know and stablish Analog Digital Converter ( ADC ) and Digital Analog Converter ( DAC ) circuits: Single- slope ADC, Dual- Slope ADC, the ADC parallel comparator, Weighted -resistant D / A converter, the basic R - 2R ladder type D / A converter. Students know and implement Digital Modulation Systems: Pulse Modulation, multiplexing,Pulse Code Modulation ( PCM ).2 - 3 - 4 - 51,

Contents of the Course
Establishment of multivibrator circuits, Astable multivibrators, Monostable multivibrators, bistable multivibrators. Structure, operation, truth tables and Flip-Fop (Multivibrator) Transition Tables of RS, JK, D and T flip-flops (Multivibrators). Establishment of asynchronous counter circuits, Asynchronous up counters, Asynchronous down counters, Asynchronous counter applications. Establishment of synchronous counter circuits. , Synchronous up counters, synchronous down counters, Ring counters, Johnson counters, Synchronous counter applications. Integrated Counters: Decimal Counter, Binary Counter and Programmable Counters. Establishment of register circuits, Serial input serial output, serial input parallel output, parallel input serial output, parallel input parallel output recorders, Multi-Purpose Integrated Recorders. Structure and implementation of Programmable Logic Circuits. Establishment of Analog Digital Converter (ADC) and Digital Analog Converter (DAC) circuits, Single slope ADC, Double Slope ADC, parallel comparator ADC, Weight resistive D /A converter, Basic R-2R ladder type D/A converter. Structure of memories, Memory Organizations and Implementation of Memories. Digital Modulation Systems, Pulse Modulation, Multiplexing, Pulse Code Modulation (PCM).
