The aim of the course:
Bring ability of measurement of basic physical and electrical quantities
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Measure accurately the physical quantity using the appropriate measuring tool 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 2 : Be able to choose the appropriate measurement tool for measuring the electrical quantity.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 3 : To measure instruments used in electrical measurements and be able to find those errors, taking into account the measurement errors.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 4 : Subordinate units of the physical and electrical measurements and transform units to each other.2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 5 : Measure resistors accurately with the meter (multimeter or ohmmeter).2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 6 : Measure RLC circuits with measurement methods2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 7 : Measure current accurately and safely using the ammeter. 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 8 : Measure the voltage using a voltmeter correctly and safely. 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 9 : Measure the frequency accurately with oscilloscope2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4
LO - 10 : Measure electrical quantities using oscilloscope and calculate some other quantities2 - 3 - 4 - 51,2,4

Contents of the Course
Basic principles of measurement. Measure physical quantities. Current, voltage and resistance measurement. Power and energy measurement. Measurement of the circuit parameters. Power factor and frequency measurements. Measuring instruments measuring the expansion of areas. Measuring with oscilloscope.
