Contents of the Course
1. The course objective, how the course will be conducted, the exam format, and the responsibilities of students to achieve the expected benefits from the course will be explained. Information will be provided on how to install the AutoCAD program on students' computers. 2. An introduction to AutoCAD will be given, and basic drawing elements will be introduced. Extending and intersecting lines, and the point snapping mode will be introduced. A practical application will be carried out. 3. Creating circular objects, dimensioning and labeling the created objects. A practical application will be carried out. 4. Introducing surfaces and user-defined coordinate systems in three-dimensional work. A practical application will be carried out. 5. Creating simple three-dimensional objects. A practical application will be carried out. 6. Teaching the difference between three-dimensional surfaces and solid objects. A practical application will be carried out. 7. Creating complex three-dimensional objects. A practical application will be carried out. 8. Introduction to Solidworks software, basic working environment and tools. Information will be provided on how to install the Solidworks program on students' computers. 9. Basic geometric drawings The concept of two-dimensional sketches and reference planes 10. Creating complex two-dimensional drawings Applications will be done on this topic. 11. Advanced assembly relationships in two-dimensional drawings Applications will be done on this topic. 12. Techniques and reference geometry used in creating three-dimensional solid models from two-dimensional sketches Applications will be done on this topic. 13. Manipulation of solid models Applications will be done on this topic. 14. Solid models of some mechanisms and movable assembly relationships Applications will be done on this topic.
