| This course covers fundamental biostatistics concepts commonly used in health sciences. Topics include types of data, frequency distributions, graphical representations, measures of central tendency and dispersion. Normal distribution, probability theory, sampling methods, and basic hypothesis testing are introduced. Students apply parametric and non-parametric statistical tests, as well as correlation and regression analysis. The course emphasizes statistical interpretation and reporting of research findings and is completed with project presentations and a final exam. |
