Additionally, the course aims to equip students with the ability to evaluate patient safety within the framework of quality and risk management in healthcare services, and to learn and apply occupational health and safety regulations. The course focuses on enhancing patient and employee safety by introducing fundamental goals, accurate patient identification, improving communication among personnel, medication safety, the role of medical equipment alarm systems in reducing patient harm, infection prevention and control, identifying suicide-related safety risks, promoting equity in healthcare services, and strengthening error prevention strategies particularly in surgical and other specialized units. |
