The aim of the course:
To introduce Turkish folk poet

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Will learn about anonymous folk literature genres in a comparative way1 - 6 - 7 - 81,
LO - 2 : Will get to know the performers and storytellers in Turkish folk literature1 - 6 - 7 - 81,
LO - 3 : Will understand the importance of storytelling tradition in Turkish folk culture1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,
LO - 4 : Will be informed about the Book of Dede Korkut and the Oghuz world1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 51,

Contents of the Course
Turkish folk poetry. Early examples; anonymous Turkish folk poetry, ballad, koşma, Türkü etc. The narrative kinds in anonymous folk-literature (tale, legend, wit, folk, story, words in-pattern (proverb, idiom, puzzle, praise, curse, etc)
