The aim of the course:
To introduce students to the different trends, genres, artists and works of Turkish literature in the Republican era; to develop students' skills in examining and analysing selected texts.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : To be knowledgeable about the general characteristics of Turkish novels from the Republican Era.1 - 81
LO - 2 : To have knowledge of classical, modern and postmodern approaches to the novel.1 - 2 - 81
LO - 3 : To be able to evaluate the works of prominent writers of the Republican Era within the context of era-personality-work.1 - 2 - 81
LO - 4 : To understand the ability of the novel genre to reflect the social and political environment and to evaluate the analysed novels from this perspective.1 - 2 - 81
LO - 5 : To be knowledgeable about modern novel techniques such as stream of consciousness and leitmotif.1 - 2 - 81
