The aim of the course:
To teach Turkish language and Turkish system of thougth through language materials in Turkish first written documents; to gain the ability for students that look comparative to changes and developments in language.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : They have knowledge about Turkish first written sources1 - 5 - 6 - 71,3

LO - 6 : They will be able to comprehend the period in which the Göktürk texts were produced, both culturally and historically

Contents of the Course
To understand the general characteristics of the Old Turkic (Orkhon Turkish) period and to grasp the phonetic, morphological, and semantic features of the first written texts of the Turkish language.
