The aim of the course:
Mapping/associating the spatial distributions of social (population, socio-economic, etc.) and physical (climate, topography, etc.) data related to the space, understanding spatial patterns and processes, visualization and evaluation in both regional and urban scales

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Use/production of spatial data in different scales in planning; digital database, data processing, spatial analysis and GIS, spatial/temporal distribution/change of social/human data, spatial/temporal distribution/change of physical data, analysis of data, synthesis/inquiry/interpretation and database creation for planning, threshold/suitability analysis
