The primary objective of this semester is to introduce students to semantic/physical environmental conditions and climatic factors. It is aimed to examine inter-spatial relationships not only through the concepts of space, form, function, structure, and technology, but also within the scope of environmental conditions. |

| By establishing relationships with existing buildings or through more complex spatial organizations created with multiple masses, students are expected to comprehend semantic/physical environmental characteristics, climatic conditions, sustainability, and the relationships among them. It is anticipated that students will develop by incorporating environmental conditions into the relationship between space, form, function, structure, and technology experienced in previous semesters. It is considered an important learning achievement that the design problem addressed during the semester should be a building with a public function, considered within the scope of its relationship with the city and urban districts (existing fabric and environment/urban space: focus-street connections/relationships with other focal points), and evaluated semantically and physically with its immediate context. |
