The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to provide general information on the environmental problems, environment and economics, environmental problems and international relations.

Contents of the Course
General concepts, emerging of environmental problems, classification of environmental problems, origins of environmental problems, rapid population growth, urbanization and industrial development, economical analysis on environmental problems, environment and international relations, internatinal agreements on environment, United Nations framework convention on climate change and Kyoto Protocol, environmental policy instruments; direct controls,economical and financial instruments, environmental impact assesment, solid vaste management, administrative structure concerning environment in Turkey.
