The aim of the course:
To learn the historical development discipline of Public Administration and to examine the current structure and functioning of Turkish Public Administration.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Basic characteristics of public administration, the development of public administration in the world and in Turkey, theoretical approaches in public administration discipline (traditional public administration, new public management, governance, e-government approaches), organization of Turkish public administration, centralized administration (Central Organization) and provincial organization of central administration, local governments, service decentralization organizations, auditing of Turkish public administration, structural and functional problems of Turkish public administration
