The aim of the course:
To give information about spectroscopic methods using in organic chemistry, and to give an idea about structure identification of organic compounds by spectroscopic methods.

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : It can explain the changes in molecular energy levels as a result of the interaction of ectromagnetic radiation in a certain frequency range (UV-VIS, IR, Radio frequency and high energy electron bombardment) with organic molecules.1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 81,
LO - 2 : Recognize the spectroscopic methods used in organic chemistry1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 81,
LO - 3 : Identify organic compounds by using spectroscopic methods.1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 81,
LO - 4 : Identify the unknown organic compounds1,
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
