The aim of the course:
Main purpose of the course ,matter ,structure of atom ,compounds and types of chemical reactions,chemical bonds and provide information about molecule shapes.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : knows the structure of matter and atom,explains their models, name ionic and covalent compounds.1 - 2 - 3 - 41,
LO - 2 : performs unit conversions,learns the concepts of finding moleculer formulas and preparig solution.1 - 2 - 3 - 41,
LO - 3 : write and balance reaction equations.1 - 2 - 3 - 41,
LO - 4 : perform stoichiometric calculations on chemical reactions. 1 - 2 - 3 - 41,
LO - 5 : expresses the gas laws,learns to calculate the volume of a gas under given conditions. 1 - 2 - 3 - 41,
LO - 6 : knows the structure of the atom,quantum numbers,electronic configuration and periodic properties. 1 - 2 - 3 - 41,

Contents of the Course
Atom, molecule and ions, chemical formulas and equations, electronic structure of atom,chemical bonds, periodic table and elements, gases,solutions and solubility,concept of acid and base,ionic balance, solution reactions, oxidation and reduction,electronic configuration, periodic properties and lewis structure.
