The aim of the course:
Instilling a culture of occupational safety with features that will meet the provisions and standards stipulated by the laws and regulations on occupational health and safety. To understand occupational health and safety risks and precautions.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : The engineering practices used will consistently improve in preventing workplace accidents and being knowledgeable about standards.9.21,
LO - 2 : articipants will gain knowledge about the effects of engineering applications on health, environment, and safety in universal and societal dimensions, and the relationship between contemporary engineering problems and occupational accidents and diseases.11.11,
LO - 3 : By gaining awareness of the legal implications of engineering solutions, they will become knowledgeable about the legal consequences of workplace accidents.11.21,

Contents of the Course
Occupational health and safety practice principles, risk avoidance in the workplace, occupational disease and the importance of occupational safety culture, establishing and maintaining a safety culture, occupational safety legislation, emergencies and protection policies.
