The aim of the course:
Objective of this course is to teach to students ship geometry and stabilty.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : describe the basic parameters of a ship11,
LO - 2 : explain the basic bouyancy criteria11,
LO - 3 : describe the changes in the stability of a ship during loading and unloading operations11,
LO - 4 : explain the changes of stability under large roll angle11,
LO - 5 : evaluate the launching calculations.11,

Inclining Experiment, Intact Stability at Large Angles of Heel, Intact Stability Criteria, Free Surface Effect. Dynamic Stability. Stability in Waves, Longitudinal Stability and Trim. Docking, Grain Loading Calculations ,Subdivision of Ships.
