As a result of the evaluations made, to comprehend the method of how to benefit from these sources in terms of the political, social, economic and cultural histories of the Ottoman Empire. |

| In this course, the conditions and when Ottoman historiography started will be examined. The content of the course, which will examine the issues of Ottoman historiography, is to examine the development of Ottoman historiography until the 19th century. In the course, the place and importance of Menakibnames, Chronicles and calendars in Ottoman historiography will be examined, and the characteristics of chroniclers will be evaluated. |
