The aim of the course:
To give information about health law and related basic concepts, To provide information on patient rights within the framework of national and international legislation, To give general information about informed consent and medical malpractice in medical interventions, and To provide information about some crimes that may find application in terms of physicians and healthcare professionals.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
In terms of medical ethics, the concept of "informed consent", which is one of the basic elements of the patient-physician relationship, and its historical development, legal bases, conditions, exceptions, special appearances, and the form in the legislation and practice will be examined in all aspects. The basic and distinctive features of the physician's responsibility will be discussed within the framework of general liability principles.
