Content of the Medical Microbiology I course: laboratory safety and working principles, sterilization and disinfection methods, hand washing, normal flora, the tools and materials used in the microbiology laboratory and the principles of their use, general information about the structure of bacteria, introductory level knowledge of microorganisms and diagnostic methods, appropriate Sample taking and sample rejection reasons, sending to the laboratory, media preparation and storage methods, simple preparation preparation and staining methods. culture cultivation and counting, general biochemical properties and identification of microorganisms, antibiotic sensitivity tests. |
