The aim of the course:
Knows dental caries, its classification, diagnosis and treatment planning, applies it in the preclinic. Knows and applies composite restoration stages in anterior and posterior teeth.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Explains the adhesion to enamel and dentin, its mechanism and clinical factors affecting the adhesion.11,4,

LO - 3 : Explains the definition, structure, content and classification of dental composites.11,4,
LO - 4 : Explains and applies composite selection, preparation and restoration steps in anterior and posterior teeth.11,4,
LO - 5 : Defines and applies polymerization techniques and influencing factors. Defines the light sources used, ocular damages and protection methods11,4,
LO - 6 : Explain the definition, theories, etiological factors and classification of dental caries, diagnosis and treatment methods.11,4,
LO - 7 : Explain the formation and structure of enamel and dentin caries. explains and applies vital pulp treatments and alternative capping materials.11,4,

LO - 9 : Explains and compares posterior restorations, material alternatives (inlay, onlay, overlay, pin restorations)11,4,
