The aim of the course:
Definition of allocating forestlands to other uses. Land allocation in the constitutions and relevant forest laws, Relevant amendments and their justification in forest codes. Implications of the relevant codes and problems encountered. Constitutional and legal conflicts in the evaluation of the lands so allocated. Resolving disputes, related court verdicts. The state and the amount of forest lands allocated to other uses. The effect of allocation on the health and sustainability of forest resources.
